- 3½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1⅓ cups warm water
- 2¼ tsp active dry yeast
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp Optional: dried Italian herbs
- 1 tbsp Optional: cornmeal
Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast; let sit until foamy
Combine flour, salt, herbs; add yeast mix and oil
Knead 8-10 minutes until smooth
Let rise 1-2 hours until doubled
Divide, shape into 2 crusts; add toppings
Bake at 475°F for 10-15 minutes
