- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- ½ tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter (for cooking)
- ¼ cup sliced strawberries or bananas for topping
- Maple syrup, for serving
Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and sugar in a shallow bowl
Heat skillet over medium; melt 1 tbsp butter
Dip bread in custard for 5-10 seconds per side; let excess drip off
Cook slices 2-3 minutes per side until golden; add butter as needed
