Chicken Parmesan Recipe: Classic Italian Comfort

A crispy, classic Chicken Parmesan with marinara and cheese, ideal for comforting dinners.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 8 oz spaghetti or linguine
  • 2 tbsp fresh basil chopped
  • Optional: ½ tsp red pepper flakes

Instructions
 

  • Pound chicken cutlets; season with salt and pepper
  • Dredge in flour, egg, and breadcrumb-Parmesan mix
  • Fry cutlets 3-4 minutes per side; drain
  • Top with marinara, cheeses; bake at 400°F for 10-12 minutes
  • Cook pasta; drain
  • Serve with pasta, sauce, and basil

Notes

  • Use fresh Parmesan
  • Fry in hot oil
  • Store in fridge for 3 days or freeze for 2 months
  • Serve with salad
